Valkyrie Ambassadors
Valkyrie is a seven-leg team relay. Most people who would love it need more than an advertisement — they need someone they already trust to explain how it works and help them build a team. Ambassadors are those people.
What an ambassador actually does
Explain the race
Help people understand the seven legs, the team format, and what they are actually signing up for.
Build teams
Help captains find teammates, and help solo athletes find a team that needs their discipline.
Bring people together offline
Group runs, rides, paddles, club nights, team-building sessions — real gatherings in a real place.
Welcome beginners
The biggest barrier to this race is not fitness. It is believing you belong in it.
The seven ways to represent Valkyrie
Community
Your neighborhood, workplace, school, gym, or recreation group.
Discipline
Athletes in one or more of the seven legs — trail, mountain bike, road cycling, paddleboard, open-water swim, paddle, and road run.
Team Captain
Helping captains go from interest to a complete, registered team.
Market Lead
Coordinating the ambassadors in one race market and acting as the local point of contact.
Campus
Universities, colleges, and their student and alumni communities.
Corporate
Employers, wellness programs, and professional networks.
Club and Retail
Running, cycling, triathlon and paddling clubs, gyms, and outdoor retailers.
What we look for
We are not looking for the largest audience. We are looking for people who can get ten friends to show up on a Saturday morning.
You are genuinely part of a community already — a club, a gym, a workplace, a campus.
You have organized people before, offline, and they came.
You follow through on things that take months.
You can explain something complicated without making people feel stupid.
You are welcoming to beginners and slower athletes.
You want to understand all seven legs, not only your own.
What ambassadors get
Recognition
Named on this site, acknowledged at the race, and credited for the teams you help create.
Access
Early information, ambassador briefings, and a direct line to the people actually running the race. Valkyrie is small enough that this is genuinely true.
A voice
Real input on the course, the format, and how the race is run.
What we ask
Ambassadors tell the truth about the race, including how hard it is. They never promise entries, refunds, discounts, or roster spots. They say — I do not know, but I will connect you with the right person — instead of guessing. And they always disclose that they represent Valkyrie when they talk about it.
How it works
1 — Apply or be invited
Most ambassadors come from people who have already raced, captained, or volunteered.
2 — A conversation
We talk about your community, what you would want to organize, and what support you would need.
3 — Agreement and training
A short written agreement and an onboarding session covering the race, the brand, and what you can and cannot say on our behalf.
4 — Your first activation
Something real in your own community, with our materials behind you.
