THE HEART OF THE RACE
THE BIVOUAC
Seven legs go out. Everyone comes back here.

THE RELAY’S SECRET
1/7
MOST OF THE RACE HAPPENS OFF THE COURSE.
In a seven-leg relay, at any given moment most of your team isn’t racing. They’re at the Bivouac — tracking the course, feeding the next leg up, retelling the last one, and sizing up the team set up beside them. The hours between legs aren’t downtime. They’re where the day actually gets lived.
BETWEEN LEGS
RIVALS AT DAWN. FRIENDS BY DUSK.
You’ll arrive knowing your team. You’ll leave knowing the field. The Bivouac puts every crew in one place — and something happens when the team you chased all day is the one cheering your anchor home. That’s the basecamp we’re building: big enough to hold the whole race, close enough that nobody stays a stranger.
WHO HOLDS THE HILL
EVERY ROLE HAS A HOME HERE.
TEAMS
Check-in, staging, recovery, and the roar when your anchor comes home. Your basecamp between legs.
WINGMATES
Every team runs on people who never wear a bib. Racers borrow the glory — Wingmates hold the basecamp.

VOLUNTEERS AND RACE HQ
Coordination, official race information, and approved partner activity all run from here.
FOR PARTNERS
PUT YOUR BRAND WHERE THE ATHLETES ACTUALLY ARE.
Race-day marketing usually means a banner athletes sprint past. The Bivouac is the opposite: a full day with the whole field — endurance athletes and their crews — gathered, relaxed, hungry, and paying attention. As the Bivouac grows, so does the room for partners to feed them, outfit them, demo for them, and become part of the story they tell afterward. If you want your product in an athlete’s hands instead of their peripheral vision, this is the venue.
PRESENCE
A tent, a banner, and a place in the middle of the day — not beside it.
SUSTENANCE
Food, fuel and swag, straight into racers’ hands.
STORY
Your brand woven into the day teams talk about all year.
BIVOUAC LAW
A Valkyrie Bivouac is the central physical basecamp for a specific Valkyrie race — the primary gathering, coordination, staging, information and support location for that event.
IT IS
Check-in and team assembly. Gear staging and recovery. Official race information. Wingmate operations. Food, services, awards and gathering — as each race’s approved plan provides.
IT IS NOT — AUTOMATICALLY
Not a campground. Not an exchange zone. Not the start or finish line. Not public parking. Not a spectator area. When a race’s approved plan joins one of those to the Bivouac, the plan says so — and the plan governs.
Venues, access, hours and services differ for every race. Every race has exactly one Bivouac — know yours.

THE COURSE TESTS YOU. THE BIVOUAC KEEPS YOU.
You’ll remember the suffering out on the course. You’ll retell it at the Bivouac. Bring your team, plant your flag, and stay for the whole day.
