From the archives: The first Valkyrie Relay - June 19, 2021

On June 19, 2021, the first Valkyrie Relay set out across Utah's Wasatch Back - Jordanelle, Midway, Heber City, Soldier Hollow and Deer Creek. Thirty-one full-relay teams raced. Team We Like Bacon took first, ahead of Team SCHLUCKSPECHTERS and Team The fUTEgatives. In the Sprint, Team 4 decades led ten teams home.

Pandemic restrictions meant no finish-line festival that year. The race ran anyway.
