About this event
Where Valkyrie began. The Wasatch Back race was first planned for 2020, cancelled by the pandemic, and then held in 2021 and 2022 before the series moved to Durango. It is not currently scheduled.
The original Valkyrie
The Valkyrie Relay began on Utah’s Wasatch Back. The original course ran through Soldier Hollow, Heber Valley, the Jordanelle and Deer Creek reservoirs, and the surrounding Central Wasatch, with races held in 2021 and 2022. The series later moved to Durango, Colorado.
